Rise & Shine’s Sylvania daycare serves families across Sylvania, Sylvania Waters, Miranda, Kirrawee, and Gymea, bringing premium early learning to the heart of the Sutherland Shire. Whether your child is just a few weeks old or preparing for their final year before school, every stage is supported under one roof, with a curriculum and care standard that goes well beyond what most long day care centres in the area offer.
Open Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–6:00 pm, with qualified educators in every room and freshly cooked meals on the table every day. With government subsidies applied, fees at our Sylvania childcare centre start from just $20 per day.

The Shine Advantage™ curriculum is what sets Rise & Shine apart. Infants at Rise & Shine Sylvania are supported through the Care+ approach: a consistent primary educator, low ratios, and a settling routine that prioritises secure attachment above everything else. For Sylvania preschoolers, the Orbit STEM Hub brings hands-on science and discovery into everyday learning.

I moved my 2 kids in Rise & Shine Kindy when I saw that the centre opened in Mar 2014. It was a good decision back then, as my kids are not happy in their previous day care centre. The programs and activities for the kids are never boring, there is always something new for the kids to get interested and engaged. This is evident with my kids as they are always looking forward and excited going to Rise & Shine Kindy every morning.
My son, Oliver, goes to Rise and Shine 5 days a week. He started in Aug 14 when I was starting a new job. I was worried that my son & myself would not cope with the changes, as he weren’t coping well in previous centre. Amazingly, he settled in well in the first week. Staff are very really good and caring, and from what I can see, very low staff turnover. My son sees familiar faces every day. The centre is very well presented and run professionally. I get to see the daily book electronically so I know his activities during the day. My son came to the centre with dummies, milk bottles and nappies. Now, none of that, the staff help me in the process. My son is very happy and so am I.
The federal Child Care Subsidy (CCS) reduces out-of-pocket costs based on income and activity hours. Eligible 4-year-olds can access NSW Start Strong funding on top of CCS, bringing fees to as little as $20 per day for many Sylvania families.

We care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years across our Nursery, Toddler, and Preschool/Kindergarten rooms.

Yes, our Sylvania Preschool room is for children aged 3–6 years. Eligible 4-year-olds can access NSW Start Strong funding to significantly reduce fees.
