Rise & Shine Kogarah is backed by the Shine Advantage™ curriculum: five elements (Smart Start, Fit, Inspired, Unite, and Crew) built to develop the whole child academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.
It goes beyond the EYLF framework, bringing a structured framework designed specifically for Rise & Shine children.
For infants, the Care+ approach means consistent primary educators, low ratios, and a daily rhythm centred on secure attachment. For Kogarah preschoolers, the Kindy+ program brings fun and excitement through a calendar of events and excursions and the Orbit STEM Hub brings science, technology, engineering, and maths into everyday hands-on exploration; both experiences further strengthen school readiness.

The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) reduces fees based on family income and activity hours.
Eligible 4-year-olds also qualify for NSW Start Strong preschool funding, which stacks on top of CCS. For many Kogarah families, the combined result is fees from as little as $20 per day for a full preschool program.

We care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years across Nursery, Toddler, and Preschool rooms.

Yes, our Preschool/Kindergarten room runs for children aged 3–6 years. Eligible 4-year-olds can access NSW Start Strong funding to significantly reduce fees.
Yes, we're open Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm year-round, excluding public holidays.
