Welcoming Dr Laura Driessen as the official STEM Ambassador for Rise & Shine Kindergarten! Recognised across the sector as leaders in early childhood STEM education, we are passionate about nurturing curious minds through innovation and exploration. By partnering with STEM champions like Dr Laura, we aim to further inspire and empower the next generation of thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers, helping every child in our care fall in love with the world of STEM from the very beginning.
Rise & Shine Kindergarten is deeply committed to building strong connections with our local communities. We actively foster these relationships through a wide range of partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations with schools, TAFEs, universities, sporting clubs, charities, and local businesses.
Our Kindy+ events and excursion program has strengthened bonds with iconic venues and attractions, including Sea Life, Symbio Zoo, Featherdale, and Wildlife HQ, creating enriching experiences for children while supporting valuable community connections.
To further enhance the FIT element of our Shine Advantage curriculum, we have partnered with Soccer Joey’s, bringing a weekly soccer program to all NSW centres and encouraging children to develop healthy habits, teamwork skills, and a love for physical activity.
Equally important is our ongoing charity partnership with Supertees. Supertees are specially designed medical garments that meet hospital standards, allowing for treatment with ease while empowering children in hospital to embrace their imagination and feel like superheroes. Since 2021, Rise & Shine has proudly donated more than 1,500 Supertees and contributed $20,000 in 2023 to support the development of a new Supertee design. Looking ahead to 2026, we will continue this commitment by donating a Supertee on behalf of every enrolment at our new NSW and QLD centres, along with further funding to help bring another Supertee project to life.
We are also excited to be working with local schools to deliver our new Early to Excellence STEM partnership program, inspiring the next generation of thinkers, innovators, and problem-solvers.
